This week, we’ve added some background tracks that work especially well for classes using instruments that only play in the key of C. This might include mallet instruments, recorders, harmonicas, bells, or other instruments that only have the notes represented by the white keys of the piano, or that easily play in C (I’m looking at you, recorders!).
This pack includes five different styles of one-chord jams. Each jam is available in C major, D minor, and A minor.
This works because the C major scale, D Dorian, and A natural minor all use only the white keys of the piano (the natural notes). While it can be helpful to emphasize the C, Am, and Dm arpeggios, all of the notes will sound pretty good with these jam tracks.
I’ve also put these into MP3 format so that they are easier to download and play, especially for those with slower internet connections.
