Hello, Musical Wonders friends!
This week we’re highlighting a couple of things we’re especially excited about: a new set of jam tracks for instruments that live on the white keys and a reminder to nominate a great teacher for the GRAMMY Music Educator Award.
New Resource: Jam Tracks for the White Keys
We’ve added a new pack of background tracks designed especially for classes using instruments that play easily in C, including mallet instruments, recorders, harmonicas, bells, and other instruments built around the white keys of the piano. The pack includes five different one-chord jam styles, and each one is available in C major, D minor, and A minor.
Time-Sensitive Reminder: Nominate a Teacher for the GRAMMY Music Educator Award
Do you know a music teacher who deserves some recognition? Our recent post highlights the GRAMMY Music Educator Award and encourages nominations for outstanding teachers. The nomination deadline is approaching quickly.
Upcoming Workshop: Los Angeles and Seattle Areas
We’re thrilled to be offering a free Creative Music-Making Workshop in the Los Angeles and Seattle areas.
We’ll be exploring improvisation, composition, arranging, comping, songwriting, and technology integration in a hands-on, collaborative setting. Please sign up or share these workshops with your teacher friends
Thanks, as always, for being part of the Musical Wonders community. We’re grateful for all the ways you keep creative music-making alive in your classrooms and communities.
