This full-day training is open to up to 60 music teachers of all kinds: elementary music, band, choir, orchestra, general music, modern band and beyond at all levels.

What You’ll Experience
This hands-on training will immerse you in creative music-making practices for the classroom. Together we’ll explore:
🎵 Improvisation & Composition – simple strategies that empower students to create their own music in all settings, including large ensemble.
🎵 Arranging & Comping – building background patterns that work across instruments and ensembles.
🎵 Songwriting – guiding your students to write, share, and perform original songs.
🎵 Technology Integration – explore how technology tools can benefit you and your students.
We’ll play together, try out real-world classroom applications, and connect these practices to a wide variety of teaching environments.
Bring an instrument (any kind: winds, strings, guitars, percussion, kazoo… the sky’s the limit!) for an inspiring day of collaboration and fun.
