At Musical Wonders, we’re all about empowering music teachers with tools that inspire creativity, authenticity, and lifelong musicianship. That’s why we’re thrilled to spotlight one of our favorite organizations leading the charge in popular music education: Music Will (formerly Little Kids Rock).
If you’re not already familiar with their work, now’s the time to dive in. Music Will has been empowering classrooms across the country with their commitment to equitable, culturally responsive, and student-centered music education. Their Modern Band philosophy embraces the music students know and love—rock, hip-hop, pop, Latin, R&B—and gives them the tools to make it their own.

Every year, Music Will brings together an incredible community of music educators at the Modern Band Summit—a national conference that’s all about making music education relevant, inclusive, and engaging.
This summer, we’re excited to be part of the action with our very own Creative Music-Making Pre-Conference Workshop on July 8th. We’ll be diving into songwriting, arranging, improvisation, and more, giving teachers hands-on tools to take back to their classrooms.
