What a joy to spend the early part of December with the awesome teachers of New York State at NYSSMA in Rochester, NY this year.
In addition to catching up Musical Wonders teachers from across the state, we also had the honor of presenting sessions on Creative Music-making and technology. Highlights included the APME - NY jam session and participating in the annual staircase Holiday Sing-a-long.
Congratulation as well to our friend Tom Zlabinger on establishing APME-NY as a NYSSMA affiliate organization and to Kris Gilbert for the excellent work as the clinician for the first New York State Modern Band Showcase.
We hope to visit NYSSMA again in the future!
