This week, we’re connecting the dots between practical tools and big ideas in music education.
First up, we dropped a CAGED Pentatonic Scale Sheet for guitar. It’s clean, simple, and ready to use with students of any level. Whether you’re teaching soloing, songwriting, or basic scale shapes, this resource is meant to be a go-to visual that demystifies the fretboard and makes creativity feel accessible. We also include all of the individual diagrams so you can make your own classroom handouts.
Next, we shared a recap from APME Memphis. We connected with educators from across the globe, led creative sessions, and were inspired by the powerful performances at the STAX Museum. The experience reminded us that music education isn’t just about skill-building—it’s about soul-building.
Finally, we featured MusicTheory.net, a long-time favorite for its straightforward approach to music literacy. With easy-to-use lessons and highly customizable drills, it’s a perfect example of how technology can support great teaching.
As always, Musical Wonders is here to make creativity more doable, more joyful, and more student-driven.
